Remains found in Montgomery County have been identified as Felicia Johnson
Johnson, a 24-year-old from San Diego, disappeared during a trip to Houston in April 2022.

The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office and JP Wayne Mack have confirmed that the human remains discovered in the Sam Houston National Forest earlier this month belong to Felicia Johnson.
Although jewelry found with the remains on Feb. 7 was identified by her father as belonging to his daughter, the man charged with her murder is still at large.
Johnson, a 24-year-old from San Diego, disappeared during a trip to Houston in April 2022.
As per the statement from the sheriff’s office, the remains were sent for DNA and dental record examination.
Sadly, the dental records have now confirmed that the human remains belong to Felicia Johnson, the missing person from California.
The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office conveyed its condolences to the Johnson family and friends and expressed hope that this confirmation will provide them with some closure.
