Reports of active shooter at Dallas County Health and Health Services in Texas

Police are responding to reports of gunshots being heard inside the Dallas County Health and Human Services building Thursday afternoon.

Police are responding to the Dallas County Health and Health Services on I-35 for a possible active shooter situation.

Building has been locked down.

According to police sources, the authorities are conducting a thorough investigation of each floor to locate any potential suspects.

Dallas Police and Dallas Co Sheriff Deputies take tactical stance outside Dallas County Health & Human Services building. Workers say they received alerts about an active shooter on one of the floors in the building. Some workers are on lock down.

Employees at Dallas County Health & Human Services told FOX3 they’ve been evacuated after reports of an active shooter.

Heavy police presence can be seen in the vicinity, with vehicles from both the Dallas County Sheriff’s Office and Marshal Service on the scene near the building.

The building is located at 2377 North Stemmons Freeway near the Dallas medical district.

As at the time of this report, there has been neither confirmation nor identification of any victims.

No suspects have been identified, and there has been no information immediately released regarding any arrests.

Police ask public to please stay out of the area.
