Update: On 01/30/23, the Buena Park Police Department received a phone call in regards to threats being made from inside of Walmart.
Officers quickly arrived as Walmart was already being evacuated. Officers assessed the scene and no person(s) responsible for the call were located. It was later discovered the original caller was from out of state and the call appeared to have been a hoax.
There are no immediate threats to the public.

Officers and detectives are currently on scene conducting an investigation.

No suspects have been identified, and there has been no information immediately released regarding any arrests.
Police ask public to please stay out of the area.
