Reports of an active at Pensacola Catholic High School were false

Deputies have determined that there was no active shooting at Pensacola Catholic High School on Wednesday morning.
The Escambia County Sheriff’s Office and Pensacola Police were summoned to the school on W Scott St. around 11:35 a.m. for a shooting incident, but it was found to be a false alarm, likely a swatting call.
The first responders are now leaving the location.
