Reports of an active shooter at Henrico High School are unfounded, according to Henrico Police.

According to Henrico Police, There is no active shooter at Henrico High School.

Reported an active shooter Threat , Based on a social media post, VIPD responded and secured the perimeter while the school monitors checked the classrooms/ Campus. The school was placed on Lockdown from 8:00am to 9:30am.
Henrico Police have responded and have determined the original call for service to the 300 block of Azalea Ave is unfounded. However, Henrico Police SROs will remain at surrounding schools.
There is no active shooter.
