During the World Cup match between Belgium and Morocco, a riot broke out in which riotous fans overturned cars and started fires while water cannons were deployed.
Worrying scenes have been reported from the capital of Belgium, where angry fans are causing trouble on the streets after their team lost 2-0 to Morocco in the World Cup.
As angry football fans threw fireworks, flipped cars, and set fire to scooters, the police used water cannons and tear gas to stop them.
During the game, which Belgium lost 0-2, fans set fire to e-scooters and smashed vehicles, which prompted the deployment of approximately one hundred riot police officers to the area.

Images captured on camera revealed shocking scenes, with flames burning in the middle of the road and Moroccan supporters parading through the streets while waving flags.
The mayor of Brussels, Philippe Close, issued a statement condemning the riots and advising people to avoid the city center.
He claimed to have given the police the order to make arrests.
“I strongly condemn the incidents that occurred this afternoon,” he said.
“The police have already acted harshly. So I advise supporters not to come to the center.
“The police are doing everything they can to maintain public order.”
As fireworks were let off in the area of the Brussels-South railway station prior to the beginning of the match, tensions were already beginning to rise.
It meant that dozens of police officers had already arrived at the scene in anticipation of potential riots.
