Ronald G. Cline, Jr and Leslie Barstow shot and killed in the 2400 block of Spring Valley Drive, Pacific

Franklin County Sheriff Steve Pelton has released the names of the two individuals found shot outside of a rural Pacific home on Wednesday. Both victims are now deceased following the death of the woman at a St. Louis area hospital.

On January 4th, 2023, at approximately 7:30 p.m., a call was received of two people shot in the 2400 block of Spring Valley Drive, Pacific,

Upon Deputies, Meramec Ambulance District, and Pacific Fire Protection District arrival, they located a male and female that had been shot outside the residence, the 39-year-old male was deceased and the female was transported by EMS.

The male victim is identified as Ronald G. Cline, Jr., a 39-year-old male from Pacific, and the female that passed away at the hospital is identified as 34-year-old Leslie N. Barstow from Pacific.

Investigators spoke to a witness that heard a vehicle leave the area of the scene after the shooting occurred.
