There are rumors on social media that Chinese President Xi Jinping is “under house arrest by the People’s Liberation Army” on September 24.

Jennifer Zeng, a Chinese human rights activist, claimed in a video that the People’s Liberation Army (PLA) is making preparations to take control of Beijing. Zeng released the video on her Twitter profile.

There are also rumors that both international and domestic flights to and from Beijing have been halted and that the city has been cut off from the rest of the world.

On the other hand, neither the Chinese Communist Party nor the state media have provided any formal confirmation as of yet.

There’s a new rumor that has to be investigated: Is Xi Jingping being held under house arrest in Beijing? The leaders of the Chinese Communist Party were said to have dismissed Xi from his position as the Party’s in-charge of the Army while he was recently in Samarkand. After that, they placed him under house arrest. According to the rumor,,” Subramanian Swamy, a former Cabinet minister and current leader of the BJP, said in a tweet.

On Twitter, several Chinese nationals have also tweeted about what they believe to be Xi Jinping’s home arrest. There have been several allegations that the PLA has assumed command of the armed forces. There was even speculation that Li Qiaoming had been elevated to the position of President of China.

This week in China, two former ministers were condemned to death and four officials were given life sentences in prison for their roles in a corruption scandal. It has been reported that the six individuals were members of a “political faction.” It is reported that the six individuals were opponents of Jinping’s and that the Communist Party is currently conducting an anti-corruption drive over the entirety of the country. Anti-Jinping activists are suspected of being the ones who initiated and circulated the rumor that Jinping was placed under house arrest.
