Grandfather of Texas school shooter Salvador Ramos says his mother is ‘feeling bad for everybody’

Thursday, the grandpa of alleged school shooter Salvador Ramos stated that his daughter, the suspect’s mother, is “feeling awful for everyone,” but added, “She lost her son, too.”

Thursday morning, Rolando Reyes spoke briefly with Fox3 Now outside his home in Uvalde, Texas, only days after his 18-year-old grandson, Ramos, reportedly shot and killed 19 kids and two teachers at the nearby Robb Elementary School before being fatally wounded by law officials.

Ramos is said to have shot his grandmother in the face and written on Facebook, “I’m going to shoot my grandmother,” before the school shooting. “I killed my grandmother,” he said, and then he said, “I’m going to kill kids at an elementary school.”

Authorities said Thursday that it looks like the gunman who killed 21 people in an elementary school in Uvalde, Texas, was able to get in because the doors were not locked.
