According to reports, the body of New Jersey Councilwoman Eunice Dwumfour was discovered outside of her home on Wednesday night after she had been shot to death.

After receiving a report of shots fired near the Camelot at La Mer apartment complex in Sayreville, New Jersey, police located the deceased corpse of 30-year-old Dwumfour inside the vehicle she was driving.

According to statements given to the media by the Middlesex County Prosecutor Yolanda Ciccone and the Sayreville police Chief Daniel Plumwacker, Dwumfour, a Republican who had served as a councilwoman for the Borough of Sayreville since 2021, had been pronounced deceased at the scene of the incident.
