Seattle podcast host Zohreh Sadeghi and husband Mohammed Naseri killed by trucker Ramin Khodakaramrezaei in Redmond, Washington

Victim’s mother escaped and called 911

Just a few days after a podcaster and her husband requested a protective order against a Texas man who had been stalking them, he broke into their Redmond home, 15 miles east of Seattle, in the middle of the night and murdered them.

Ramin Khodakaramrezaei, previously of Houston, was also discovered dead inside the $1.3 million residence.

Although authorities have not released the victims’ names officially, news sources have identified them as Zohreh Sadeghi, aged 33, and Mohammad Milad Naseri, aged 35.

The victim applied for a restraining order against Ramin on March 3, and he was also facing stalking and harassment charges filed on March 2.

Zohreh’s mother was in the home at the time of the assault but managed to flee and called 911 from a neighbor’s house around 1:45 am.

Officers found an unconscious man on the floor and transported him outside, where they discovered he had been shot.

He was pronounced dead on the scene.

The woman victim’s podcasts were heard by Ramin, who began communicating with her, leading to a friendship that escalated and forced her to file a no-contact order against him.

Court documents indicate that Zohreh and Mohammad’s lawyer told a judge last week he wasn’t sure whether Ramin owned any firearms but suspected he might.

The court issued a temporary protection order and ordered Ramin to surrender any firearms.

The victim was already known to investigators due to the ongoing stalking inquiry.

Ramin has a seven-year-old daughter with his ex-wife, according to Texas court records.
