Sherman Police investigating after one person shot at 629 South Montgomery Street
Police are investigating a shooting in a Sherman neighborhood early Tuesday morning that left one person seriously injured at 629 South Montgomery Street.

Police are investigating a shooting in a Sherman neighborhood early Tuesday morning that left one person seriously injured.

On 1/3/2023 at approximately 3:50am, Sherman PD Communications received a call in reference to a male who had been shot at 629 South Montgomery Street. Sherman Police and Fire personnel responded.
The white male victim was located with a least one gunshot wound and was initially transported to a local hospital. He has since been transported to a metroplex area hospital for treatment of his injury.
Officers surrounded the property and began calling out the residents. The Sherman Special Response Team and Negotiator Unit responded to assist. At approximately 8:30am, all residents either exited or were removed from the residence.
Sherman Detectives are on currently on scene and the investigation is ongoing.
