Shooting at a home in Woodbridge leaves four adult dead

Woodbridge, Virginia, shooting: “Four bodies found” inside a residence in Dale City as police surround Mansfield Court following gunfire

According to the Prince William County Police Department, following a shooting that took place on Monday evening, the bodies of four adult victims were discovered inside a property located on Mansfield Ct. in Woodbridge, Virginia.

The incident appears to be isolated, and there is no threat to the community, according to the police. During the course of the inquiry, residents of the neighborhood should anticipate a significant presence of law enforcement officers.

Prince William County Police Department statement: Shooting Investigation – On October 17 at 4:32PM, officers responded to a residence located in the 5200 block of Mansfield Ct in Woodbridge (22193) to investigate a shooting. When officers arrived, they located the residence unsecured and conducted a welfare check. Once inside the home, officers located four adults in different parts of the residence suffering from gunshot wounds. All four victims were pronounced dead at the scene. At this time, the incident appears isolated to the residence, and there is no ongoing threat to the community. Additional information will be released when available. The investigation continues.
