In a weekend shooting at a warehouse party in Los Angeles, authorities say three individuals were murdered and three others were injured.

An early Sunday morning shooting at a warehouse party in Los Angeles resulted in the deaths of three individuals and the wounding of three more, authorities said.

Gunfire erupted early Sunday morning in the area of Lorena Street and Grand Vista Avenue.

At a warehouse party, a rapper by the name of Money Sign Suede was performing, kicking off the summer. This rap artist has been contracted to Atlanta Records for one and a half years already, according to the label. Social media was used to promote the event.

Trouble began around 3:30 a.m., and there was gunfire.

A total of six people were shot and three people were killed, according to the police. There was a single person found on the street. He was rushed to the hospital, but unfortunately, he did not survive. Inside the warehouse, police discovered three more victims who had been shot. Two people were found deceased inside. According to authorities, two more people were taken to the hospital on their own, where they were receiving treatment.

The motive for the shooting remained a mystery.
