Shooting at Port Arthur night club leaves one woman dead
The Port Arthur Police Department is conducting an investigation into a shooting that occurred at a nightclub and resulted in the death of one woman and injuries to another person.

At approximately 3:30 in the am on Sunday, a call came in to the PAPD reporting that shots had been fired at a nightclub located in the 600 block of Houston Avenue.
They discovered two victims of a shooting. They were both sent to Christus St. Elizabeth Hospital. A woman of 32 years of age has passed away.
A woman of 32 years old was pronounced dead at the hospital, according to a justice of the peace.
The name of the night club where the incident occurred has not been released by the authorities.
At around 7:00 a.m. on Sunday, the woman passed away as a result of her injuries at St. Elizabeth Hospital.
A postmortem examination has been mandated by Judge Collins.
At this moment, it is not known what precipitated the shooting that took place.
