THREE people have been hospitalized after gunfire erupted outside a mall as police units swiftly respond to the scene.

It happened on Friday afternoon in Temple Hills, Maryland, near the entrance to The Shops at Iverson Mall.
Victims’ injuries seemed to be non-life-threatening, according to the Prince George Police Department’s statement.
According to those who spoke with FOX3, two men were walking out of the mall entrance when they suddenly turned around and began shooting at a group of people who were following them.
The police stated on their Twitter account that there are three victims, one adult male and two adults females.
The male victim’s condition is described as being critical. The females were injured, but their injuries are not thought to be life-threatening at this time.
There was a delay in releasing their names and ages to the public.
There is no active shooter warning in force, according to officials.
Police are looking for one or more suspects who escaped from the crime site.

About an hour before the Iverson Mall shooting, three people were injured in a gunshot at the Eastridge Mall in Gastonia, North Carolina.
Multiple rounds were fired in the food court section of the mall during the shooting, according to authorities.
Gunshot wounds were found on three victims who were sent to nearby hospitals.
It was also stated that their wounds did not appear to be life-threatening.
