Shooting at Royal Palms beach in San Pedro leaves five people injured
Police searching for two suspects.

On Saturday evening, a shooting at Royal Palms Beach in San Pedro left five people injured, and police are currently searching for the suspect.
The incident was reported around 5:44 p.m. in the vicinity of Paseo Del Mar and Graysby Avenue, according to the Los Angeles police.
Los Angeles County Supervisor Janice Hahn said in a statement that three victims are in critical condition while the other two are in stable condition.
At first, police believed that four adult men were shot, but later discovered that a juvenile victim was also wounded. No details of the suspect have been released yet.
Videos from witnesses showed numerous ambulances arriving at the scene.
Hahn expressed disappointment that the shooting occurred on the same day that a gun buy-back event was hosted a few miles away.
“Gun violence is causing havoc in our community,” she said.
Royal Palms Beach will be closed on Sunday, and weekend hours will be limited to allow officials to devise a plan to ensure safe and peaceful community use.
