Shots fired outside Apple’s flagship New York store just one block from Trump Tower

There was a shooting outside one of Apple’s main stores, about a block away from Trump Tower, where the former president is residing.

The incident occurred early Wednesday in Midtown Manhattan, in front of Apple’s retail shop on East 59th Street and Fifth Avenue.

The opulent locale is in close proximity to the famed Plaza Hotel and high-end boutiques such as Louis Vuitton, Chanel, and Balenciaga.

Two suspects escaped in a black automobile southbound on Fifth Avenue, while the other two fled on foot eastbound on Madison Avenue, according to police.

It is unknown how many suspects opened fire and what their motivation was.

There was no obvious connection to the 24-hour Apple store.
