Uniontown police are trying to determine why multiple gunshots were fired.

During an altercation at Sails Inn on North Gallatin Avenue, two men were shot and killed, making it the scene of a deadly double shooting overnight in Uniontown.

Daryl Maurice Truley Jr., who is facing multiple charges, including criminal homicide, aggravated assault, simple assault and firearms violations, is wanted for arrest.

The police have been investigating to determine if there were more shooters involved. One of the victims was Tommy Stargell Jr., according to his sister, Novva Humble, who said that her life, her mother’s life, and Tommy’s children’s lives would never be the same again.

Police in Uniontown have identified the victims of the double shooting at Sails Inn on North Gallatin Avenue as 28-year-old Stargell and 32-year-old Darrell Gregg. Stargell’s sister expressed her devastation upon receiving the news, stating that her brother was her only sibling and a beloved family member.

Authorities are currently investigating the incident, trying to ascertain the reason for the multiple gunshots that were fired. According to Lt. Tom Kolencik, video surveillance footage indicates that the victims were all together when some kind of altercation occurred, but the cause is still unknown.

While it appeared that there were no issues earlier in the evening, the shooting involved two guns, and police are searching for Daryl Maurice Truley Jr., who is facing multiple charges, including criminal homicide, aggravated assault, simple assault, and firearms violations.

Police are in search of at least one suspect believed to be involved in one of the deaths, and are currently reviewing surveillance footage in hopes of finding more information. “We don’t know if one shooter caused both of the deceased or if there was more than one shooter,” said Lt. Kolencik.

Meanwhile, the family members of the victims were present at the scene, grieving over their loss. “He just got out of prison a month ago, he was doing so good, Humble said. He was on probation. His probation was good. And they took him away from us.

I’ll never be the same. My mom will never be the same, and his kids will never be the same, over something stupid probably.”
