Superintendent of Central Regional School District, Triantafillos Parlapanides said Adriana Kuch was ‘on Drugs’ and father’s ‘affair’ caused mom’s suicide seven years ago

The superintendent of the New Jersey school where 14-year-old Adriana Kuch was beaten and later took her own life has made cruel and baseless accusations against Adriana’s family.

Triantafillos Parlapanides, the Superintendent of Central Regional School District who earns $190,000 a year, claimed in emails to DailyMail.com that Adriana was using drugs and was offered counseling for drug use.

He also made an unfounded claim against Adriana’s father, Michael, alleging that he had an affair that led to Adriana’s mother’s suicide seven years ago, and later moved his mistress into the family home.

This “mistress” is Adriana’s stepmother, Sarah, who was crying as she spoke to DailyMail.com on Friday morning before Adriana’s funeral.

Adriana committed suicide on February 2nd, after being threatened by the bullies who had attacked her and receiving a barrage of harassing messages.

Despite being offered counseling and support from the school, Superintendent Triantafillos Parlapanides responded to questions about Adriana’s death with defamatory remarks about her family.

He suggested that Adriana had been offered drug rehab and mental health services, which her father had refused, and blamed her poor choices on her mother’s suicide.

However, Adriana’s father, Michael Kuch, previously spoke about how his daughter’s mother had struggled with addiction and passed away in 2015.

According to Adriana’s father, Michael Kuch, the claims made by the superintendent of Central Regional School District, Triantafillos Parlapanides, that counseling was offered to Adriana for drugs is untrue.

Michael stated that he and his wife had sought help for Adriana due to her smoking marijuana with a vape, which was a common issue among students at the school.

“I am completely taken aback by the superintendent’s baseless allegations and outrageous deflection,” Mr. Kuch stated in response to the superintendent’s emails.

Adriana’s father holds the school responsible for her death, as they did not call the police after the assault and did not provide adequate support.

Despite this, Parlapanides, the highest paid administrator in the district, has defended himself on Facebook, stating that there are two sides to every story.

He has served as the superintendent for 14 years and is in charge of three schools. Adriana killed herself two days after being beaten by the bullies and after seeing their taunts on social media, which only added to her trauma.

The four girls involved have been charged – three with fourth-degree assault and one with disorderly conduct. The prosecution of these individuals as either adults or minors is still uncertain.
