Suspect Raissa Kengne who shot 3 people in Midtown Atlanta near Colony Square arrested
A shooting that occurred in Midtown Atlanta near Colony Square resulted in the deaths of one person and injuries to two others, Suspect Raissa Kengne arrested.

After a shooting in Midtown Atlanta at Colony Square that resulted in the deaths of two people and the injury of one other person, suspect Raissa Kengne has been taken into custody. There were two locations where the shooting took place.

According to the authorities, a shooting that occurred in Midtown Atlanta near Colony Square resulted in the deaths of one person and injuries to two others. According to the Atlanta Police Department, the subject is currently in police custody.
At around 1:45 p.m., officers from the Atlanta Police Department responded to the 1280 W. Peachtree Street location where they found two people who appeared to be suffering from gunshot wounds. According to APD, one of them passed away.
While they were conducting their investigation at that location, they received a call to go to 1100 Peachtree Street, where there was another injured victim.
According to the APD, it is unknown what precipitated the shootings. The survivors of the attack are currently being treated in the hospital.
Wesley Freeman, who was 41 years old, and Michael Shinners, who was 60 years old, were recognized as the victims who passed away by the Fulton County Medical Examiner’s Office.


APD stated that they are attempting to ascertain if the suspect targeted the victims or if any of the victims were shot at random.
APD did not specify the location of the suspect’s capture.

MOTHER OF WITNESS DESCRIBES SHOOTING INSIDE 1280 WEST CONDOS IN MIDTOWN IN ATLANTA, GEORGIA:
She just said to FOX3 that her daughter was shot at but able to duck under a table to avoid being hit. She said her daughter’s boss was hit and described his injuries as life-threatening. She said her daughter started at this job a few months ago.
Please advise residents to stay off of the streets in the midtown areas, specifically the areas between 12th St and Peachtree St NE and 15th St and W. Peachtree St NW.
