An individual has been apprehended at the intersection of North Archusa Ave. and Cypress Street in Quitman, potentially linked to a shooting incident in Kemper County.
Earlier today, someone was shot on Highway 45 and authorities shared details of the suspect’s vehicle with nearby law enforcement agencies.
Clarke County officials located and detained a person matching the description of the suspect.
The Mississippi Bureau of Investigation (MBI) is on their way to Clarke County to verify if this individual is the same one involved in the Kemper County shooting.
