Oakdale Police officers responded to Skyview Middle School
On November 21, 2022 at 1:10 PM, Oakdale Police officers responded to Skyview Middle School (1100 Heron Avenue) after school staff found a suspicious note in the school. The note contained a vague threat of potential gun violence.
Police are taking all necessary precautions to ensure the safety for all involved. Responding officers are currently working with school officials to ensure a safe release of students from the school.
The Oakdale Police department will share more information when it becomes available.
