Swedish star Loreen won the Eurovision Song Contest 2023
Her winning song this year was “Tattoo.”

Loreen from Sweden has emerged victorious in the Eurovision Song Contest for the second time, with an impressive score of 583 points after a thrilling finish.
She first won in 2012 with her song “Euphoria,” which has since become a Eurovision classic.
Her winning song this year was “Tattoo.”
The final five acts’ results were as follows:
- Sweden – 583 points
- Finland – 526 points
- Israel– 362 points
- Italy – 350 points
- Norway – 268 points
There is a sense that the audience at the arena was rooting for Finland to win, despite Käärijä being the underdog compared to favourite Loreen.
The crowd was heard chanting “Cha Cha Cha” during the announcement of results, but the overall atmosphere is not as lively as one might anticipate. Some individuals are even leaving before the show has concluded.
After being declared the winner of the 67th Eurovision Song Contest, Loreen immediately returns to the stage.
She is now officially the first woman to win the competition twice, having been handed the trophy by the Kalush Orchestra. Like Johnny Logan, she has won the coveted Eurovision trophy twice.
The bookmakers’ predictions proved accurate, as Sweden were the clear favourites and dominated the night with 583 points.
Finland, who were the second-favourites, secured a respectable 526 points and came in second, while Israel placed third with 362 points. Unfortunately, the UK did not perform as well as expected, earning only 24 points.
