The incident left three students dead and five others injured, causing the university community to be in shock.
MSU student John Hao, a student from China, is one of the five students critically injured in the campus shooting on Monday, Feb. 13.
“Ever since my wife died, my son began to change,” Michael McRae said.

As per the wishes of the family, Michigan police have decided not to reveal the name of the third victim.
“He stayed to himself,” Michael McRae said. “He kind of secluded himself.
Information received during the investigation indicated that the shooter (Anthony McRae, age 43) had local ties to Ewing Township.
The victims who were killed and wounded were all students.
