Family and friends of Terrance “TD” Butler, of Edgefield, SC are asking for prayers and help as they continue to search for him in Lake Murray.

The family of Terrance Butler, who was 32 years old and from Edgefield County, South Carolina, is still looking for answers three days after he vanished on Lake Murray.
We require resolution. “We’re hoping for a miracle, but we’re prepared on either end if it’s something we don’t want to hear,” said Tierra Butler.
Terrance Butler fell overboard while aboard a boat with friends on Lake Murray, according to his niece Tierra.
” Everything transpired so quickly. “After realizing that he had plunged into the water, they dived in instantly,” Butler added.
We were told Butler works at DJJ and is a part of National Guard Reserve Unit 263rd AAMDC out of Anderson, SC.
His friends tells us he fell off a boat on Sunday (July 31) around 4 or 5pm. We are told divers have been helping in the search since Sunday.
Crews from the Lexington County Sheriff’s Office and the South Carolina Department of Natural Resources are utilizing sonar to find the body.
His friend sent us this map and says the areas in green are parts of the lake they are asking anyone may be in the area to check the shorelines.
As the search for him continues, his family maintains hope.
