Three students detained after lockdown at Clackamas High School

The lockdown at Clackamas High School, according to the North Clackamas School District, has been lifted. According to the district, “all children and employees are safe.” The district requested that people refrain from calling or visiting the school at this time and stated it will tell families as soon as it had the necessary information.

The lockdown at Clackamas High School, according to the North Clackamas School District, has been lifted. According to the district, “all children and employees are safe.” The district requested that people refrain from calling or visiting the school at this time and stated it will tell families as soon as it had the necessary information.

This morning (Friday, September 16, 2022), at about 11:26 a.m., the Clackamas High School Resource Officer (SRO) notified dispatch about a Snapchat video that looked to show a student at Clackamas High holding what appeared to be a pistol inside of a lavatory at Clackamas High.

Deputy Sheriffs have arrived. Approximately 2 minutes after the initial call, the first unit arrived on the site. Two of the pupils shown in the Snapchat video were tracked down and detained by deputies with the assistance of school administrators. Clackamas High School was immediately placed in lockdown after it was discovered that a third exceptional student may have been involved.

The third youngster was located with the assistance of school administrators by deputies, who then brought the juvenile into custody.

Additionally, deputies located a CO2-powered fake weapon that had a genuine appearance.

The investigation is still going on at this time.

The lockdown at Clackamas High School has been lifted, and there is now no danger to the kids at the school.
