Suspect Shawn Petry has been located and is in police custody. 2 persons have been pronounced deceased at the scene and 3 others have been transported to hospital.

According to the Peel police, one individual was shot to death in the region of Peel, while another was transferred to a trauma center after being injured.

Peel Regional Police stated in a tweet that they were dispatched to an incident on Monday afternoon around 2:15 p.m. local time near the intersection of Argentia Road and Winston Churchill Boulevard.

After two persons were shot on Monday afternoon, police in the Peel and Halton regions are seeking for the man responsible for the shootings.

After shots were fired in the neighborhood of Argentia Road and Winston Churchill Boulevard in Mississauga, the Peel regional police say that one victim had to be rushed to a trauma center for treatment.

In the aftermath of the incident, the Halton Regional Police stated that Bronte Street South in Milton has been shut down between King Street and Main Street as a result of the investigation.

According to statements made by both law enforcement agencies, they are searching for a suspect who is using a black Jeep Cherokee bearing the license plate number CLMZ 905.

According to the Peel police, he is a black male of slim frame who was dressed in all black and a yellow work vest when he was seen.

There has been no additional information provided, but police say that officers assigned to the media are on their way to the location in Mississauga and will offer an update as soon as they can.

A witness has reported to FOX3 that she was present in a Walmart in the neighborhood of Mississauga when the security alarms began to sound.

She explained, “When I went to the car, I could hear sirens and police whistles.” “When I went to the car.” Someone was being transported in a stretcher when an ambulance arrived on the scene.

The woman, who did not wish to be recognized, claims that she then observed law enforcement agents descend on a Tim Hortons located in the vicinity.
