Tristan Walker killed in road rage-related shooting at Hermitage Walmart parking lot, Tiara Mowbray in custody
Walker was hit in the chest and died at the scene, according to officials.

An inquiry was conducted into a fatal shooting that occurred at a Walmart parking lot on 4424 Lebanon Pike in Hermitage.
The shooting took place on a Saturday afternoon, and officials were notified around 2 p.m.
According to the Metro Police Department, Tristan Walker, aged 38, was shot by a 22-year-old named Tiara Mowbray, allegedly as a result of road rage.
Walker’s girlfriend, who was a passenger in his vehicle, informed the officers that Mowbray had been following them too closely. Mowbray claimed that Walker had deliberately braked in front of her, prompting her to do the same to him.
After entering the Walmart parking lot from Andrew Jackson Parkway, both vehicles stopped, and Walker allegedly approached Mowbray’s car.
Police stated that Mowbray fired a shot, hitting Walker in the chest, who passed away at the scene.
Mowbray remained at the scene and her gun was found on the dashboard of her car. She cooperated with detectives and was questioned at police headquarters.
Homicide Unit detectives will submit the investigation’s findings to the District Attorney’s Office. Police said that no charges would be filed.
