Two teens and a security guard shot at Williamsburg Charter High School

Three people were shot at Williamsburg Charter High School in Brooklyn on Wednesday afternoon and police say the shooter is still at large.

Officials have reported a shooting near a Brooklyn high school on Wednesday afternoon, which resulted in three casualties: two teens and a security guard.

The shooting took place at the Williamsburg Charter High School located at 198 Varet St. in Williamsburg around 2 p.m., as reported by the FDNY.

The victims, a 15-year-old girl, a 17-year-old boy, and a 37-year-old security guard, were shot in the thigh and neck respectively.

They were taken to the hospital and are in stable condition.

The shooter fled the scene, according to a police spokesperson.

One nearby school was placed on lockdown for approximately an hour and a half as a precaution.
