On Sunday, detectives working for a state committee disclosed new information regarding the atrocity that Salvador Ramos carried out at Robb Elementary School.
The investigation revealed that Ramos had no prior expertise with the use of weapons; nonetheless, he was still able to carry out the slaughter owing to “systemic failures” on the part of the police, school officials, and even his own family.
It was also discovered that 376 police officers eventually arrived on the site, yet the shooter was allowed to kill four graders and two teachers inside a classroom as officers waited outside.
The report was created by members of the Texas House investigative committee based on the findings of an investigation that lasted for weeks and tried to investigate what transpired prior to, during, and after one of the worst school shootings in the history of the United States.
On May 24, an 18-year-old armed with automatic rifles and hundreds of rounds of ammunition opened fire at Robb Elementary School.
