Virgil Mack arrested for shooting and killing roommate over verbal dispute in Southwest Valley
The victim’s identification and the cause and manner of death will be announced by the Clark County Coroner’s Office.

Police report that a shooting occurred in the southwest valley on Wednesday night, resulting in the death of a woman who was shot by her roommate.
Responding to the incident at around 2:02 a.m. in the 4000 block of West Viking Road near Flamingo Rd, officers found the woman inside the residence with an apparent gunshot wound. Sadly, the woman was declared dead at the scene.
Police arrested Virgil Mack, a 28-year-old suspect, at the location where the incident occurred. Homicide detectives stated that Mack and the victim were living together and had a verbal altercation before the shooting.
Mack was charged with open murder with a deadly weapon and taken to the Clark County Detention Center.
The victim’s identification and the cause and manner of death will be announced by the Clark County Coroner’s Office.
