Col. Sergey Kens, 42, was killed in action. He was in charge of the 810th Separate Marine Brigade.
It remained unknown how and where he passed away.
Yesterday, it was also announced that Colonel Sergey Kuzminov, who served as the paratroop commander for the 106th Airborne Division, had passed away.
In addition, it has been reported that Lieutenant Colonel Aleksey Tikhonov, who served in the National Guard’s 46th brigade, passed away in the Kherson region.
In the meantime, Lieutenant Colonel Sergei Moskvichev, 45, who served as a para commander and was confirmed to be the 60th colonel to have died, was laid to rest with full military rites.
According to reports from Ukraine, a Himars missile attack has claimed the life of at least one more Russian general, bringing the total number of fatalities to 11.
