RCMP say Damien Sanderson, one of two suspects in a deadly stabbing rampage in Saskatchewan, has been found dead.
Police in Canada have reported that one of the two people they were looking for in connection with the stabbings that took place on Sunday in Saskatchewan has been discovered dead.
They added that the body of Damien Sanderson, who was 31 years old, was discovered on the James Smith Cree Nation, which is the home of many of the victims.
Myles Sanderson, one of the suspects, is still at large, according to the police, and they believe he is in the city of Regina. The two suspects were brothers.
One of the most horrific acts of violence in recent Canadian history took place on Sunday, when ten individuals were stabbed to death.
The assaults, which resulted in the injuries of an additional 18 people, took place in a rural part of Saskatchewan.

The search for Damien Sanderson, 31, and Myles Sanderson, 30, began early on Sunday morning in response to multiple reports of stabbings that occurred on the James Smith Cree Nation, which is located around 200 kilometers northwest of Saskatoon.
Myles is being charged with three counts of murder in the first degree, one count of attempted murder, and one crime of burglary and unlawful entry.
Damien is facing three separate charges: one for first-degree murder, one for attempted murder, and one for breaking and entering.
The Royal Canadian Mounted Police have provided an update on their search for the two men and stated that additional charges are likely to be brought as the investigation into the complex crime involving dozens of victims and 13 crime scenes continues.
In a press release, the Saskatchewan RCMP stated that they are “continuing to deploy every available resource” in their search for Myles and Damien Sanderson so that they can bring them to justice.
According to the most recent report from the RCMP, the total number of victims has increased from 15 to 18.
According to the description, Damien has a height of five feet and seven inches and a weight of 155 pounds. According to the authorities, Myles has a height of slightly more than six feet and a weight of 240 pounds.
The guys are believed to have been seen in Regina on Sunday just before 12 p.m., according to the police. The last time anyone saw them, they were driving a black Nissan Rogue that had the license plate number 119 MPI and were in the province of Saskatchewan.
According to RCMP Assistant Commissioner Blackmore, they are to be regarded as armed and dangerous, and no attempt should be made to approach them.
According to the RCMP, some of the attacks appear to have been targeted, while others may have been random acts of violence.
On Sunday, the province of Saskatchewan issued a dangerous persons notice, which was later expanded to include the neighboring provinces of Alberta and Manitoba.
At least one assault took place in the community of Weldon, Saskatchewan, which is situated around 30 kilometers to the southwest of the First Nation. CTV News was reported by locals there that an elderly guy in his 80s had been killed.
Myles Sanderson was described as being unlawfully at large and having Saskatoon as his last known whereabouts in a post that was published on Facebook by Saskatchewan Crimestoppers on May 27. The post was focused on fugitives.
There was a woman of two children and an elderly guy who both perished as a result of the attacks.
Lana Head wrote on Facebook the night before the assaults, “So many nice memories to keep.” The following morning, the attacks occurred.
After learning of the Cree Nation woman from James Smith’s passing, many people took to social media to pay their respects.
The bodies of the victims were discovered in a total of thirteen different locations, two of which were the James Smith Cree Nation and Weldon.
Two individuals, named by the police as Damien Sanderson, 31, and Myles Sanderson, 30, are wanted for questioning in connection with an ongoing armed and dangerous fugitive situation.
A dangerous person alert has been issued, and residents have been instructed to take cover where they are.

The Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) issued the following warning on Twitter: “Do not leave a secure area.” DO NOT APPROACH individuals that seem suspicious.
“Avoid picking up hitchhikers. Inform 911 of suspicious individuals, emergencies, or information.”
To aid with initial reaction operations, three medical helicopters were dispatched, two from the province’s largest city, Saskatoon, and one from Regina.
It has been stated that the males have been seen in both Regina and Melfort.
Diane Shier, a resident of Weldon, allegedly informed local reporters that her next-door neighbor, a guy who lived with his grandson, was among those who perished in the tragedy.
She expressed her profound sadness by saying, “I am terribly upset since I lost a dear neighbor.”
People in the Regina region have been cautioned by the police not to approach the males and to consider taking cover in a secure location if they can.
Police officers in the area have also requested that the “dangerous persons” notice be extended beyond the borders of Saskatchewan to include the provinces of Manitoba and Alberta.
