A lady was fatally shot while leaving her children off at a Charity Church Child Care Center near west side of Indianapolis, according to police.

A lady was fatally shot while leaving her children off at a daycare near west side of Indianapolis, according to police.

At approximately 7:20 in the morning, officers from the Indianapolis Metropolitan police department were sent to the intersection of North Holmes Avenue and West 10th Street.
At that area, the police discovered a female victim who had been shot many times. It was determined that she had passed away at the site.
According to the authorities, the victim was dropping off children at the daycare at the time of the attack, and there were numerous witnesses. According to the investigators, it’s possible that some of the children saw what took place.
It took place in the parking lot of the Charity Church Childhood Center.
The shooting was referred to by the police as a “directed attack,” and they stated that no suspect was yet in custody. They have been given a number of different descriptions of the gunman.
The children who were being cared for at the daycare were being let out through the back door. According to the police, attempts were being made to get in touch with the parents so they could come take up their children.
The shooting is still being looked into by the authorities.
